FERCHAU Engineering SARL has opened a new branch in Marignane. In conjunction with its locations in Toulouse and Paris, the German market leader in engineering services is thus expanding its presence in France. In particular, FERCHAU AVIATION's growth strategy aims to intensify its customer focus and cooperation with AIRBUS Helicopters. Activities in the context of the civil and military helicopter series will primarily concentrate on embedded systems for avionics and quality management. In addition, the new location will expand the services portfolio in the fields of mechanical and electrical systems, flight test installation (FTI), stress calculation and structural analysis as well as software development and project management.
As Country Manager Marc Brunstein sees it, the opening of the new location is an important and logical step: "With our presence in Marignane we are responding to market requirements and the wishes and expectations of our customers. Our office is located in the immediate vicinity of AIRBUS Helicopters and only a few kilometres away from the Air Force base Istres-Le Tubé with its flight test centre and the longest runway in Europe. So we are in precisely the right place to offer our engineering services for fixed-wing aircraft as well." Thanks to the geographical proximity, FERCHAU Engineering SARL can be counted on for dispatching, as and when needed, individual specialists or complete project teams even faster to the local customer.
