Bremen (Germany)

Systematic uplift

Bremen plays host to the entire process chain for high-lift systems, from structural and system development through flight dynamics, assembly, wing equipping to test facilities. Aircraft manufacturing today is inconceivable without durable, corrosion-resistant lightweight carbon fibre composite materials. Manufacturing technologies for highly integrated components are developed in Bremen. What is certain is that the courage to use new technologies is characteristic of the region's aviation companies. The Bremen team can assist you in many ways. The Bremen site specialises in design engineering, stress calculation, cargo, aircraft primary and secondary structures, high-lift devices and systems engineering.

Rostock-Warnemünde (Germany)

The home of jet propulsion

The bar has traditionally been set high for aerospace innovations in Rostock – after all, the world's first jet aircraft was developed here. Today the team at the Rostock-Warnemünde site provides support in continually setting new benchmarks, above all in cabin development. Our engineers provide the requisite knowledge and expertise of electrical and mechanical engineering coupled with software engineering. By developing simulators and training systems, we also provide opportunities for the efficient training of cabin personnel – for the best results in practice. We also develop and manufacture mechanical and electrical sub-systems, as well as test and ground support equipment for aerospace applications. The site in Rostock-Warnemünde, RST Rostock System-Technik GmbH, has been part of the FERCHAU AVIATION Group since 2015. More information: www.rst-rostock.de

Toulouse-Aviation (France)

Aeronautical engineering with a great tradition

Toulouse was FERCHAU's first foreign site. Its core competencies include mechanical & electrical system installations, flight test installations (FTI), primary and secondary structures, stress analysis and strength calculation, software development, project and quality management. The team of system engineers, FTI experts, stress analysts, design specialists and project and quality managers is involved in a range of projects for Airbus. And there’s more: Another advantage of Toulouse is that, apart from the aviation and aerospace industry, the good economic climate in the Midi-Pyrénées region also offers growing potential in the automotive and IT sector. The site’s technical focus is on embedded IT and mechanical engineering.

Seville (Spain)

Efficient interface management in Andalusia

Where once the majestic "Graf Zeppelin" rose into the air in Seville on its way to Brazil – today the site is home to the final assembly of Airbus' state-of-the-art transport aircraft. FERCHAU has also been operating in Seville since 2013, particularly with its specialist "Mise-au-point" teams (MAP). As a key interface between design offices and production, we advance our customers through targeted problem analysis and efficient solutions. And yet that's by far not all: the site's expertise ranges from tool development, design and certification support to general engineering.
