Bremen’s motto ‘buten un binnen – wagen un winnen’ (‘outside and in, risk it and win’) continues to be an expression of entrepreneurial identity and continuity today. The local aerospace industry has been building navigation satellites, aircraft components and launchers for decades. Renowned research institutes make the city state a centre for artificial intelligence (AI). FERCHAU Bremen-City – the generalists on the Weser
Since early 2020, we have worked together with 100 colleagues exclusively for customers in Bremen. ‘We’ meaning controllers, personnel specialists, project managers, web specialists, hardware/software developers, system administrators, network specialists, designers, quality managers and engineers. This means that every level of expertise and qualification is represented at the FERCHAU Bremen-City branch. Our customers take advantage of this expertise: every third project is entrusted to us in its entirety. This generalist approach is achieved by a healthy mixture of well-trained graduates and specialists with decades of experience.
Our office is located in the middle of the Überseestadt. Where ships once docked in the old harbour, there is now a lively district with industrial buildings, offices and apartments. The pace at which the district is changing also shapes our work: Whether it’s electric cars, simulators, entire production lines or software for ground stations, the challenges move with the technological zeitgeist.
