If you think of the more than 100 branches as a kind of living organism, then the head office is like the heart. Because this is where the magic of the owner-managed company happens.
Located at the Gummersbach Steinmüller site near the city centre, the company’s management, which includes Frank Ferchau (Managing Partner) and Alexander Schulz (Chief Operating Officer), is joined by various central departments. These include, among other things, key account management, the IT division and central recruiting of specialist and management staff. Consequently, groundbreaking decisions are made in Gummersbach and incorporated into the corporate cycle. Not from the top down but in cooperation. Employees at all levels of the hierarchy are regularly involved in strategic decisions in order to utilise the know-how available across the country in the best possible way.
We connect people and technologies
The head office’s open and communicative orientation is also reflected in its external appearance. In 2011, the first new, state-of-the-art building was acquired. The architecture’s central concept was connecting people and technologies, which is based on our corporate mission. The head office is an important meeting place for the employees from all branches and sites.
Because of FERCHAU’s strong growth, a second building was built right next to the first building in 2016, and a third building was sourced in 2020. The company’s continuous development provides employees and applicants at all locations with excellent career prospects in engineering and sales.
