Our personnel placement process for candidates involves three stages:

You often don’t even have time to get professional head shots so that you can create the best possible application. Don’t miss out on any opportunities. We are interested more in the content than in the packaging. Simply send us your informative CV. We don’t even need a cover letter if your documents contain the key information.
We will check your application documents. If your profile matches our customers’ requirements, we will contact you by phone and then invite you to an interview in person or a digital get-to-know-you with our personnel consultants. The latter will also inform you about the continuation of the process.
If your qualifications, skills and personal expertise match our customer’s requirements, we will then invite you to a interview in person with our customer. If both sides are happy after the discussions, we will phone to congratulate you on your new job!

- How do I know if the specified position is a ‘personnel placement’ position?
You can find out in the respective job advertisement whether the advertised position relates to a personnel placement position: The title of the position will indicate whether it is either a “Personnel placement position” or “Permanent employment with our customers”.
- I could not find a suitable vacancy. What are my chances if I apply to you speculatively?
A speculative application is worthwhile, as we also have other positions, which are filled under the utmost discretion by means of direct or executive search approaches, in addition to our publicly advertised positions. When we receive your speculative application, we will match your profile against all current vacancies. However, it is crucial that you advise us of your availability and your current professional background in your application. Should we be unable to match you in the first stage, we will be happy to consider you for future vacancies as well.
- What happens to my profile in the FERCHAU database after I have applied?
Your completed profile will be filed in our database and can be viewed by our consultants at any time in order to match it with vacancies. When storing personal data, we naturally comply with the applicable data protection regulations. Most vacant positions are filled by confidential direct or executive search approaches. Our database is therefore one of the most important tools for finding suitable candidates. We will contact you and provide you with further details as soon as your profile matches one of our contracts. If you are interested, we will talk to you in person and you can decide whether we then forward your profile to our customer. As a rule, our client usually opts to get-to-know-you in person – as they rely on our consultants’ selection and assessment. There are then normally several meetings that we also attend until the final decision is made. If required, we would be happy to assist you in the subsequent contract negotiations.
- What positions are filled by FERCHAU DIRECT?
The range of positions we fill is very diverse and includes specialist roles in: IT, Quality Management, R&D, HR, Purchasing, Engineering, Production, Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales & Technical Sales. We operate in all corporate departments at management level and, apart from our declared expertise in technical management functions, we also have expertise in filling commercial management functions. The focus is on the filling of positions at a specialist level as well as executives up to Managing Director with an annual salary of over EUR 60,000.
- Does a consultant reach out to clients with my CV even without a specific search contract?
This can happen in individual cases, but only with completely anonymous profiles. Or alternatively, only after prior consultation with you and approval by you in person.
- How much does placement by FERCHAU cost me?
You do not incur any costs as a candidate with FERCHAU.
- Are FERCHAU's personnel consultants specialised?
Our consultants have professional qualifications in specific functions and sectors. This means that we have the right and competent consultant for every consulting and placement project.
- How quickly can I expect feedback after my speculative application?
Upon receipt of your application, our consultants will constantly compare your profile against our customers’ current requirements. We will contact you as soon as a suitable position becomes vacant that matches your profile. The time can vary depending on the specific sector and department, and so we cannot give you a specific time frame.
